Clockpunk Explained: Fantasy Author Releases New Tell-All Video
1888 PressRelease - Award-winning author Lita Burke describes the unusual blend of traditional fantasy with the gritty Steampunk genre.
Denver, CO - Author Lita Burke has release a new video that explains the merge of fantasy magical elements and Steampunk into the hybrid genre she calls Clockpunk Wizard. The free video is available for immediate viewing on YouTube.com. Lita Burke's stories take place in a Renaissance-style world featuring the young Wizard Kadmeion and his half-elf assistant, Sir Bright.
"Many fantasy fans are familiar with Steampunk and its icons of corsets, top hats, and welder goggles," says Ms. Burke. "Clockpunk is the gentler cousin of Steampunk, and features Leonardo da Vinci technology, clockworks craft, and the mechanical man."
The blend of fantasy creatures and clockworks are not the only elements of Lita Burke's world of Clockpunk Wizard. Her characters live in a plate-shaped ocean world and use fantastic airships to travel between islands that float above the sea.
"The video tells more about Kadmeion's fun, but mixed-up world. It also reveals a few secrets about my Clockpunk Wizard story, Old Bony Blue Eyes."
